Designing and launching Filbert Press’ new website: bringing botanical worlds to life
Over the years, we’ve worked closely with Filbert Press on exciting book projects, from A beautiful obsession for Jimi Blade, to Botanical Brain Balms by Nicolette and Elaine Perry, and many, many more.
Most recently, we were thrilled to design, build and launch an engaging new website for the prestigious independent publisher that celebrates their expertise, embodies their passion, and brings to life their unique perspective.
From planting design to philosophy, Filbert Press publishes pioneering, relevant and expert books about plants, gardening and the natural world – providing something for everyone to discover, explore and practice.
Aiming to capture their rich knowledge, passion and wealth of expertise, our website design centres the broad selection of beautiful horticultural books they publish. We chose to enhance visual engagement by incorporating images showcasing each unique book cover, allowing viewers to visually browse the selection, and learn as they go.
The website provides a space for viewers to unearth behind the scenes information and engaging insights from the authors. Taking viewers on a journey through the book’s unique story and design – allowing audiences to lose themselves in their botanical worlds, visually immerse themselves in the knowledge on display, and learn about the author’s inspiration and impact.
