From back to cover, Keanu Reeves’ Guide to Kindness: 50 Simple Ways to be Excellent is a cheerfully illustrated guide to how we can all spread a little more love – and we think everyone could do with a copy.
Hardie Grant Books commissioned us to design the book, which needed an engaged approach that would reflect its unique content and grab attention in the gift market.
We created a playful look with a simple but elegant typeface, beautifully accompanied by the illustrations from Holly Jolley. We commissioned Jolley to create chapter openers and spot illustrations throughout the book, bringing quotes and activities to life with a mix of scenes that playfully interacts with the content, and bring to life the acts of kindness on the page.
We opted for a colour palette that emanates positivity. This book was a joy to work on from start to finish and we love the finished product.
