We recently had the opportunity to share our expertise in brand accessibility with attendees of the brilliant Strategic Marketing Conference. Joining a host of marketing heavyweights in the charity sector, we drew from our experience of working closely with charities and brands to give an engaging webinar outlining the core principles of accessibility, and ultimately, how brands can become more inclusive.
You have likely heard the term accessibility thrown around in the discourse over the past few years, but do you often wonder what that means in practice for a brand? With around 20% of the population living with a disability, it is integral for brand’s to be embedding accessibility into their communications.
At Studio Noel we are specialists in honing the accessibility of verbal and visual identities for our clients, keeping our finger on the pulse of the ever-evolving landscape of accessibility, and arming them with essential tools for improving the reach of their marketing.
Accessibility is not a one-size-fits all approach, which can make it difficult to know where to start. In our webinar, we enjoyed breaking down the fundamentals of brand accessibility, distilling examples of how to tweak marketing material in order to meet a broader range of access needs, from brand colour palette, through to type sizes and captions.
Attendees of our webinar learned that the positive impact of investing in brand accessibility is not only external, broadening their reach and drawing in a wider audience. But the benefits can also be internal, streamlining team processes and creating unified, smoother workflows. It is truly a win-win.
It was so exciting to be a part of the Strategic Marketing Conference this year, and to share the (digital) stage with so many charitable organisations that are making positive changes in the marketing world.
