Studio Noel Food Trends

Food Trends. What’s on the menu for 2018?

Portion controlled treats and more clarity on food labels it sounds like. Mintel News have released their Food & Drink Trend Predictions for 2018, a report detailing how they expect the industry to evolve next year, considering new products, trends and changing consumer attitudes. An interesting read from a design perspective as we continue to balance what brands want to tell customers with what will make them stand on an increasingly competitive supermarket shelf.

A beautiful, botanical evening at Kew for our latest book we designed

The Royal Botanical Gardens, Kew have to be one of the country’s most stunning horticultural locations and we’ve been thrilled to visit often over the past year as we’ve worked on Get Plants, a book the team there commissioned us to design. We were back again last night for a garden party to celebrate its launch; against the backdrop of the setting sun we sipped champagne and listened to gardening expert Richard Barley talk. A picture perfect evening in one of our favourite settings. See the project here.
